Description
The Presidents Elect Training Seminar is a training and informational program for the president-elect, secretary and treasurer, planned and organized by the PETS Committee and the District Governors Elect in cooperation with the District Governors. Its main purpose is to help implement the Rotary International theme for the ensuing year and to motivate the incoming club officers in leadership roles in club, district and Rotary International activities. The 2004 Rotary International Manual of Procedure states that in order to be president of a Rotary Club, the president elect must attend a President Elect Training Seminar. Rotary International Districts 5490, 5500 and 5510 sponsor this seminar for their districts.
