Description
Arjay was founded in 1974 as a fiberglass parts supplier for major boat builders. Its success in this competitive arena was based on developing and applying innovative materials and processes to reduce cost, raise quality and increase output. For example, in 1979 Arjay developed a process for spraying filled polyester to replace plywood cores. Over the years, Arjay produced over 10,000 parts, mainly hulls and decks, using its innovative methods and materials.
