Arkadium was founded in 2001 and is a privately held, family-run business (our Chairman and CEO are married). Although we tried back in 2001, the Company has never taken money from venture capitalists, private equity, or really rich people. We have managed to build a profitable business and have created a work environment that is challenging, rewarding, and a whole lotta fun.The Company was originally founded to provide online skill-based gaming to consumers. Over the last four and half years we've grown significantly and expanded our product offering to include advergames, casual game licensing and multiplayer poker. Arkadium offers its products to both businesses and consumers.Arkadium has three areas of focus and is segmented into the following divisions: Agency, Casino, and Destination. Our Agency division creates and licenses casual web, set-top and IPTV games to fortune 500 Companies and advertising agencies worldwide. Our Casino division is focused on creating top of the line casino software and has licensed its multiplayer poker software to both offline and online Casinos. Lastly, our destination division develops downloadable games and game websites that are directed to consumers.
