Armada Investment AG was established by Daniel S. Aegerter in 2000, after he led a successful merger between his US based company, TRADEX Technologies and Ariba. This transaction formed one of the largest software transactions in history. Upon the completion of the sale of his venture backed company, TRADEX, Daniel S. Aegerter formed Armada Investment AG as his Venture Fund and Family Office. As the family office for the Aegerters, Armada Investment AG manages a substantial portfolio over a variety of asset classes, and provides advisory, asset allocation and manager selection services.

Our principal was able to raise significant venture capital for his company TRADEX and has enjoyed a working relationship with some of the premier venture investors (who have made about 100x their money in his company) When Armada started in 2000 we initially focused on venture capital but have since broadened our investment horizon and are not adding currently to our venture capital allocation. We currently make only selective additional early stage venture capital investments through our existing network of entrepreneurs. We are not encouraging investment proposals for early stage startups.
