There are two basic types of cameras: the "point-and-shoot," with a built-in lens and automatic operation only, and the SLR (single lens reflex) type camera with interchangeable lenses and generally more manual options. We carry a wide variety of both types of cameras and will be happy to discuss your options with you. We also offer a camera class to help you use all the features of your SLR camera. Currently we include only 35mm SLR cameras, but we will add digital and point & shoot cameras soon. We are an athorized dealer for Nikon, Canon, Minolta, Pentax, Fuji, and Olympus equipment, as well as Tamron, Tokina, and Sigma lenses and accessories. Camera Classes We want to do everything we can to ensure that you get many years of enjoyable use out of your purchase. With this in mind, we offer a free six-hour camera class to everyone who buys an SLR camera at Armadillo Camera. The class is designed to familiarize the beginner with the basics of photography and to help them use their new camera to its full potential.
