Welcome to the world of Armando Chacon, a local South Florida Artist who was born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He is a young surrealist artist who was greatly influenced by various masters of the Surreal movement, in particular Salvador Dali. From a young age, Armando also studied Magritte, Miro and Chirico which helped him to gain an understanding of how to establish composition, perspective, and color harmony. One example is the work "America's Reality", which is based the events of September 11, 2001. The mood of this work identified with the melancholy and sorrow of a country in pain.
