Description

The Army Historical Foundation was founded in 1983 for the purpose of preserving the history and heritage of the American Soldier. Its projects include refurbishing historic Army buildings, acquiring and conserving Army artifacts, supporting the study of Army History through research and educational programs, preparing traveling exhibitions, and awarding annual scholarships and book prizes. The Foundation has also published The U.S. Army: A Complete History and The Army, two of the most engaging and authoritative books ever produced on Army History.
