Arnie's Place is one of Concord's most recognizable and popular fun spots, known almost as much for its Christmas trees and Tuesday evening Cruise Nights as it is for having one of the largest selections of award-wining, homemade ice cream in New England. Owner Tom Arnold got an early start in the restaurant business. His father started at the original Friendly's Restaurant in Pine Point, MA, and then bought a Weeks in Concord in 1964. Tom followed his father into the business in 1967 and opened Arnie's Place in 1992. The NH ice cream restaurant quickly became known for tasty and mouthwatering food and ice cream.
