Founded in the spring of 1972 in Springfield, Missouri, Southern Missouri Containers is the flagship company of SMC Packaging Group. Since its inception, the company has grown to a 160,000 square foot facility with over 180 employees. Our sound business philosophies have allowed us to assemble a first rate workforce, and, because of low turnover, our management, sales, administration, and production departments can offer you cumulative years of valuable experience. The combination of our highly experienced team and our state of the art equipment enables us to excel in our marketplace.

Twenty years before becoming SMC Packaging Group's affiliate, Arrowhead Containers, Inc. built a strong reputation in the Kansas City marketplace as a trusted supplier of corrugated packaging. As an established sheet plant with an experienced and accomplished team of employees, Arrowhead Containers combined its converting capabilities with those of SMC Packaging Group in July 1984. As the second of what are now four locations in the SMC Packaging Group, Arrowhead's dedicated customer service, coupled with sound manufacturing methods, have set it apart for decades.
