Welcome to the Artifact Studio page , here you'll find some examples of the Tattooing we do. All the tattoos on display here were executed and photographed at Artifact by owner, Mike May and Kevin Boudreau (Kevin's gallery is coming soon ! ! Check his Facebook out here ) Mike started tattooing (after years of designing his own tattoos) in the spring of 1984 in Rindge, New Hampshire. After travelling around the U.S. in search of "tattoo secrets" , he settled in Connecticut ,where he has been busy drawing and tattooing since late 1985. Artifact was established in the summer of 1997 in honor of Mike's two sons, Michael and Alexander, whom Mike credits as being his source of inspiration.
