Ascent Technology, Inc., was founded in 1986 by Professor Patrick Henry Winston and other members of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which Dr. Winston directed for 25 years, to apply research results to the solution of complex resource-planning, resource-scheduling, resource-allocation, and situation-assessment problems.Located adjacent to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, we interact frequently with the research community.
