Welcome to the American Society for Mathematics (ASM) Message from the President: Welcome to the web site of the American Society for Mathematics (ASM). ASM is dedicated to serving those who love and appreciate mathematics. It serves professors, teachers, students and other devotees alike. Each year two national championships are held by ASM. One is held at Mathfest and is for college students. The other is held in Oklahoma City and is for high school students. For results of this year's US High School National Mathematics Championships click on the events tab. ASM partners with Texas Instruments and Dell Computers in providing prizes for competitors. ASM also provides problem solving mail-outs for high schools and colleges in the US and abroad. To have your school included on the mailing list for problems, solutions, certificates, a holder and more, provided absolutely free, contact ASM using rneal@ascm.org . Please provide the name of your institution, the name of a person responsible for handing the problem solving materials (posting them, etc.), the address of your institution, and your school colors.
