Description

Founded in 1992 by Lloyd Ash, AshRoss, L.L.C. quickly sprouted into a innovative research and development shop for solving problems inherent with belly dump trailers. Mr. Ash had a friend who asked him to solve the problems associated with hauling highway aggregates in a belly dump. The State of Utah would reject any highway aggregates hauled in a belly dump because the aggregates had to be dumped on the ground and rehandled. In the rehandling process, the aggregates became contaminated and could not be used for the project. Mr. Ash's friend realized the potential savings of using belly dump trailers in hauling aggregates to and from various highway jobs instead of end dump trailers. The friend asked Mr. Ash to development an unloading system that would allow him to move from site to site and unload his belly dumps without contaminating the materials and with speed and efficiency. Starting with the first AshRoss 1260 A, Mr. Ash developed a piece of equipment that not only was portable, tow able and self propelled but it was also clean, fast and efficient. From this small beginning the company has now grown into what it is today. With four different drive-over unloading systems, AshRoss, L.L.C. is solving the problems that are inherent to the aggregate, agricultural and mining transportation industries.
