Description

ASIG is a full service systems, structures, avionics and electrical integrator dedicated to cost effective CNS/ATM/C&C/IFE instalaltions and upgrades. Specializing in integration engineering, certification & program management and as a 14 CFR § 21 FAA-PMA component and kit manufacturer, we develop and drop ship modification installation kitting, aircraft components, switching matrices, wire and cable harness assemblies direct to customer specified mod centers. Further, ASIG’s Field Response Teams (FRTs) support operators in AOG status and perform installations of Communications, Navigation, Situational Awareness, Air Traffic Management, Command & Control and In Flight Entertainment equipment for aircraft & other air vehicles. ASIG also performs research and development of emerging technologies in support of aircraft operations, maintenance, modification and repair for civil, commercial, government and foreign flight departments at our FAA 14CFR § 145 Certified Repair Station RSC#: 1AAR970Y and across the globe.

Aircraft parts are approved by the FAA. Not by the OEM, not by the aircraft manufacturer and not by parts distributors! Parts can be approved as a part of the Type Certification, if it's on the aircraft when the airplane is approved. Parts can also be approved through PMA (Parts Manufacturing Approval); these parts are designed and manufactured by a company with an FAA-approved Fabrication Inspection System and subsequently added to that company's approval list as a supplement. Parts manufactured by independent suppliers and OEMs sold through any outlet other than the aircraft manufacturer are PMA'd prior to distribution.

ASIG maintains engineering staff as well as manufacturing/fabrication capabilities at the companies headquarters in North Little Rock, AR. Additionally the company maintains multiple multi-disciplined Staff Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) and Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DARs) throughout the central and south-eastern United States dedicated to our engineering support services, STC work and other electrical, structural design and repair services.
