Assateague

Description

This web site is sponsored by Assateague.com and other friends of Assateague and Chincoteague Islands. The site was created to introduce Internet visitors to the natural resources of the islands and to the community of Chincoteague Island. While we do provide some information on the northern portion (Maryland) of Assateague, our focus is on the southern (Virginia) portion of the island accessible from Chincoteague Island. Assateague.com also created and maintains as a community service (at no cost) the web sites for The Chincoteague Natural History Association, the Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce, and The Assateague-Chincoteague Collection .
