Asset Management Resources was founded in 1989 to address the need for accurate ledger reporting and reducing personal property tax liability within the manufacturing sector. Our first engagement involved one of the "Big Three" automotive companies and its associated machinery and equipment. Since then, our manufacturing industry practice has grown to encompass domestic and international manufacturers in all market sectors. We understand the economic and competitive factors affecting manufacturers worldwide, and our clients rely on our comprehensive services and reports.

Asset Management Resources’ dedicated fixed asset consultants operate from offices throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Each year, we provide fixed asset inventory and reconciliation services for hundreds of clients, including some of our nation’s largest manufacturers, telecommunications leaders, universities (both public and private), healthcare systems and various state and local governments. We are recognized for establishing our profession’s best practices in fixed asset inventory and reconciliation.

Founded in 1989 by an entrepreneur and an executive from the General Motors Tax Staff, Asset Management Resources (AMR) focused on developing “best-in-breed” service deliverables to mitigate the tax that large corporations pay on the tangible personal property, plant, & equipment (PPE) utilized in their facilities. In order to optimize the tax benefits, Asset Management Resources developed a comprehensive approach to Fixed Asset Inventory & Reconciliation (“FAIR”).

While you may have a sophisticated and robust Enterprise Asset Management System, it will only work as well as the level of data that is captured in it. Asset Management Resources assists populating these systems with our accurate and complete inventory data. We provide standardized descriptions and develop a complete inventory with model, serial, manufacturer, department, location, and additional data sets for you to populate into your system.
