Associated Construction, Inc. constructed this new 8,500 square-foot Central Energy Plant for the Valley Hospital & Medical Center. This building is one of the most sophisticated energy plants in the region and houses all of the electrical emergency generators, boilers, chillers, ventilation, air conditioning, water, sewage, and auxiliary systems for the hospital. Construction consists of cast-in-place concrete foundations and slabs, pre-cast concrete wall panels and pre-cast concrete roof panels. The new Central Energy Plant was designed to upgrade the hospital’s facilities and meet the new capacity requirements created by the new addition.
