Associates in Dentistry Family Dental Centers began in Canton, IL in the early 1970's. With the offering of dental insurance benefits by International Harvester (now Navistar), Keystone, Caterpillar Inc., and others, the practice expanded with locations in Elmwood and Washington in 1974, Bartonville in 1978, and then the building of our central office in Peoria in 1983. Present facilities include a total of 22 fully equipped dental operatories and 11 hygiene operatories. We operate with expanded hours in each location for patient care. Account information, scheduling, and management reports are provided through access to software and hardware supported by Quality Systems, Inc. We were the initial and primary provider for American DentaPlans Ltd (a dental HMO developed specifically for Caterpillar with Associates in Dentistry) from 1984 until we discontinued our participation August 31, 2000.
