About Assurnet, Inc. Assurnet, Inc. was established in 1990 by Susann Boylan. Sue worked as a captive agent and felt her customers would benefit if she had more markets to offer. She got a small business loan from Valley Bank and opened her first location on Tropicana, offering auto, home and life insurance as an independent insurance broker. In 1993, her husband Joe Boylan sold his share of a local independent agency and joined Sue to add his 15 years experience as a commercial lines insurance agent.
