Athens Paper Company, Inc. is a privately-owned company, founded in 1952, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. The two principal owners, M.H. (Bud) Chamberlain, Jr. and W. Donald (Don) Jenkins, Jr., were previously executives for Champion Papers International, Bud being Vice President of merchandising and Don as Director of Operations.

Athens Paper Company, Inc. is a privately owned company founded in 1952 with headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. W. Donald Jenkins, Jr. and M.H. (Bud) Chamberlain, Jr. purchased the company in 1968 and managed the company together until Mr. Chamberlain’s death in 2005. Mr. Jenkins remains active in the business serving as chairman of the board. He and his family are now 100% owners of the company.

Athens Paper primary focus is to provide our clients with paper procurement solutions that improve efficiencies while reducing costs. We aim to assist our clients in reducing costs by increasing resource and logistical efficiency. Our inventory management, consignment, JIT deliveries, and stocking programs allow our customers flexibility when responding to the ever changing dynamics of their specific markets.

Athens Paper maintains a strong working relationship with all our paper manufacturers. We represent paper mills both foreign and domestic to ensure that our customers' requirements are being met with the absolutely best product.
