Rotaract was founded in 1968 by Rotary International, a worldwide association of service-minded business and professional leaders. Today there are over 6,000 Rotary sponsored Rotaract clubs with more than 130,000 members in some 120 countries around the world. Clubs are either community-based or university-based.

Access to public records is encouraged to foster confidence in government, to provide the public the opportunity to evaluate the expenditure of public funds and for the efficient and proper functioning of its institutions. Georgia's Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. 50-18-70 et seq., provides that all public records of an agency must be made available for inspection or copying unless they are specifically exempt by law. Generally, these records must be made available within three business days of the receipt of request.

Athens Technical College’s Economic Development Services serves a ten county area surrounding Athens. Our mission is to provide non-credit workforce development programs and lifelong learning opportunities to businesses and individual citizens within the communities we serve. Forming partnerships with businesses and industries, schools, agencies, churches, and community centers, we make programs more accessible.

Athens Technical College welcomes students from around the world and values the diversity that international students can bring to our campus. For the past 50 plus years, Athens Technical College has provided quality educational programs to the surrounding area. Athens Technical College enrolls approximately 6,000 students each term and has a state of the art campus. Faculty and staff focus on meeting the academic support needs of our students by providing an array of support services including advising, career counseling, and library services.
