From our headquarters in the area known as The Bluff in southwest Atlanta, we have been providing basic goods and services to local homeless individuals and people living in poverty for over 15 years.

By providing basic services without commitment on the part of the client, AHRC is able to become a trusted resource within a high-risk and marginalized community. Our nutritional and hygiene services have the immediate benefit of helping our client’s fight off disease related to poverty and malnutrition. Every client who is seen by AHRC receives health education and offers for referral services, but there no expectations or requirements for treatment in exchange for services. However, by providing no-strings-attached services, AHRC has become a trusted resource for marginalized populations in Atlanta and when clients do seek to make a positive change in their lives, we are ready and waiting to help.

AHRC is located in Atlanta’s English Avenue Community, (a.k.a. “The Bluff”) on Paines Avenue. We reach people throughout metro Atlanta with our RV, the Mobile Health Unit. We seek to provide services in one of the most poverty-stricken neighborhoods in Atlanta, ZIP Codes 30318, 30314 and 30310. This area of Atlanta has the highest HIV/AIDS rate in the state of Georgia.
