Ken Compton Ken Compton grew up in Chattanooga, TN and has always been involved in sales and marketing. He restored his first historic home in 1978 and has been hooked on renovating properties since. In 1997 Ken opened Southern Home Inspection Services. Although he is a certified home inspector and has done home inspections for years, a health issue has forced him onto the sidelines. While Ken no longer inspects, he’s directly involved in marketing the business. Anthony Dobson Anthony grew up in Marietta, GA and has a wealth of residential and commercial construction experience. Anthony is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and International Code Congress. He lives in Marble Hill, GA and inspects residential re-sales in the northern section of Metro-Atlanta and in North Georgia. Anthony joined Southern Home Inspection Services in 2005, and serves as our Inspection Manager. Bobby Beers Bobby is a lifelong resident of Atlanta, GA and has not only sold building materials but has extensive construction and remodeling experience. Bobby lives in Dunwoody and inspects new construction and residential re-sales all over Metro Atlanta. Bobby is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and is International Code Congress Certified. He joined Southern Home Inspection Services in 2003. Lee Garrett Lee is a native of Rome , GA and spent many years not only selling building materials but remodeling homes as well. Lee is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and the International Code Congress. Lee lives in Powder Springs and conducts inspections on residential re-sales primarily on the west side of Metro-Atlanta and in North Georgia. Lee owned his own home inspection company for four years prior to joining Southern Home Inspection Services in 2009. Paul Shafer Paul was born in New York but has lived in Acworth, GA for the last 21 years. He has been in the new home construction business his entire life prior to joining Southern Home Inspection Services. Paul is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors. Paul still lives in Acworth and conducts inspections on residential re-sales primarily on the west side of Metro Atlanta and in North Georgia. Paul has been with Southern Home Inspection Services since 2001. Beth Compton Beth grew up in a small town southern Indiana. She moved to the beautiful North Georgia Mountains in the late 1980’s and became a real estate agent, specializing in mountain properties. Beth referred her clients to Southern Home Inspection Services for their inspections and upon marrying Ken joined the firm in 2000.
