AVENUES FOR EXTRAORDINARY GROWTH POTENTIAL Following the introduction by Ontario of its New Green Energy Bill and trendsetting Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) program, designed to promote the use of Renewable Energy across Canada's most populous province, Atlantic Wind and Solar focused its attention on aggressively exploiting the tremendous market opportunities the FIT created for rooftop solar systems in Ontario. Since the introduction of FIT with its long term contracts to purchase electricity generated by renewable sources at lucrative prices, AWSL has begun to lease rooftop space to supply and install the Company's own rooftop solar parks in many regions of the Province. Atlantic offers the choice to building owners of either sharing in the ownership and electricity sales revenues from these Solar Parks over long term contracts via a joint venture with AWSL or, if preferred, simply renting the rooftop space to Atlantic who on its own will build and operate the system and receive the revenues. AWSL has cultivated strong relationships with Property Management, Real Estate, and Development companies in recent months and has announced numerous Letters of Intent and orders aimed at seeing many projects undertaken in 2010. Growth of the global Renewable Energy industry has soared over the past decade and currently amounts to some US$200 billion annually. It is viewed by many to be still in its infancy, as the recognized potential for additional renewable energy production is many times the current output from currently installed Wind and Solar generating systems.
