There is no doubt that green is the color to be these days. Hybrid cars, recycling programs and reusable shopping bags…it’s easy for people to do their part to keep our environment healthy and reverse some of the damage of years past. For more than two decades, Atlas Butler has been incorporating green policies companywide, demonstrating that businesses can practice environmental responsibility as well. On job sites, as well as in the office, Atlas Butler recycles metal, cardboard and products containing mercury. In addition, we have been recovering and recycling CFC’s (chloro-flourocarbons) and refrigerants since 1992. In the office, we recycle our office paper and print on recycled paper with soy ink. Aluminum cans are recycled and nearly all of the lighting is fluorescent. These factors are important as individual steps. When put together they equal a significant reduction in Atlas Butler’s environmental impact. Atlas Butler has just been recognized by the City of Columbus as a " Green Spot " member. The Green Spot designation is very important in the HVAC industry as we will be helping our clients go ‘Green’ with energy saving tips and High Efficient Furnaces and A/C’s. Remember- Green is good!
