King of Prussia, PA (June 17, 2014) – Quench USA, the largest independent provider of filtered water coolers and ice dispensers in North America, announced that it has acquired Atlas Watersystems, Inc. Founded in 1987 and based outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Atlas is the largest provider of commercial, food service and residential drinking water systems and related services in New England. Additionally, Atlas is a leader in the design, installation, and maintenance of high purity industrial water systems, such as those used by biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Jack Graves, former facility manager for medical device manufacturer Boston Scientific, hired Atlas when his company decided to rid itself of bottled water coolers at its Watertown facility. He brought the company in again when he moved to Andover-based electronic equipment manufacturer Vicor Corp. "They've always been a great company to work with," Graves said. "They're extremely dependable," said Len Accomando, facilities director for medical device manufacturer Nova Biomedical, who noted Atlas has performed work for his company on the weekend so as not to disrupt Nova's workflow.
