The office, located at 923 Cardinal Court in Auburn, began operations in March, providing a variety of mental health services to the DeKalb County area. With the opening of the Auburn office, coupled with the opening of the Steuben County office in Angola during the same month, The Bowen Center expanded to 11 offices in 10 Indiana counties along with numerous smaller satellite facilities. The Auburn office is open Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Founded in 1961, the Otis R.

Commitment levels vary based on the role and there are diverse opportunities including finance, event planning, networking and member engagement, scholarships, and strategic planning. Just like all nonprofit organizations, the Chamber relies on volunteers as a part of our everyday operations. Working with us is a win-win as our volunteers are working with the business leaders and stakeholders in our community.
Hosting a Meet & Greet is a chance to get people in your door to see product you offer, learn more about your business, or just to make the community more aware of your business. Recently, the Chamber worked with a Master's student from Trine University to develop a high-quality, structured, rewarding volunteer program. Volunteers are a critical piece to our organization. With engagement from our members, we are able to be a stronger support to the business and community in DeKalb County. In philosophy and in practice, volunteers are at the core of the Chamber.
