Description

The SFAC is designed to provide direct support to Warriors in Transition and their Family Members while assigned to the Fort Leonard Wood Warrior in Transition Unit (WTU).

· Army Family Team Building is not a new idea or concept. It's the formal recognition and naming of something that Army and Army families have been doing for over 200 years - sustaining and nurturing the force and serving the Nation.

Plan, implement, and operate a Business programs that are sustaining and self-sufficient as possible while meeting the needs of our customers.

With support of the Army Family Covenant, Fort Leonard Wood received a new SAS Center in FY 10. The new center consists of a multi purpose room where physical fitness programs, such as Healthy Habits and Smart Moves can be accomplished. Individual lockers are available for each youth to store their belongings. There is a demonstration kitchen, where youth can learn basic food preparation skills. Activity Rooms include Arts & Science, Drama, Computer Lab which consists of 15 computers, Homework lab, Gaming Room and Technology Room, where youth can construct projects.
