Augie Palladino graduated from Massapequa High School in 1980. After two years of automotive schooling he went to work right away and quickly excelled in the industry. His specialties include Transmissions and drivetrain. As he became a very skilled Transmission technician, he was highly sought after by many big chain auto franchises. In 1989, Augie branched out on his own. He bought a major franchise in Smithtown and started Augie's Garage a few years later. Not wanting to ask the high prices often demanded by other franchises, he decided to combine Augie's Garage with Augie's Transmission. Augie's remains a respected name in Smithtown for 15 years. Smithtown Transmissions specializes in auto & truck Transmissions as well as Differentials. Our facility services the public as well as corporate fleets, and repair shops. Headed by Augie Palladino, we have been remanufacturing Transmissions since 1981.
