August Builders, Inc. was incorporated in 1993 as a result of Bill Green deciding to change from commercial construction to residential construction. After spending five years learning the ropes with the family construction company, Bill spent the next 19 years working for several commerical construction or construction related companies in northeast and central Arkansas as an estimator and project manager.After 24 years in the commercial construction field, Bill decided the time was right to start his own business in the residential home building arena. Sixteen years later he is still designing and building quality homes in the Cabot area. Having spent time in the commercial construction world, Bill brought with him many of the concepts and adopted them to his new company. Many of these concepts were new to the residential community. Two of these were general liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance. Bill is a firm believer that having these insurance policies is just GOOD BUSINESS. Bill and his wife, Judy, work together as a team. They have separate responsibilities, but also team together on the planning,designing, decorating and the planning of ‘spec’ homes.
