AuraVC is interested in market disruptors and innovators that create breakthrough products or services to address a significant problem or fundamental human or business need in the U.S. or global marketplace. CRITERIA We are technology and business savvy and bridge between manufacturing companies and the financial world. In reviewing potential investments and business plans, AuraVC will evaluate such factors as: 1) management team; 2) hidden value; 3) barriers to entry, intellectual property, and sustainable competitive advantages specifically in regards to the U.S. market; 4) scalability of the business model and growth potential; 5) market validation in the company's product or service in the form of actual revenues, customers, and/or strategic partners; 6) Exit potential and strategic value to larger enterprises and buyout groups. STAGE We advise both early stage companies (whose technologies would be of value to larger enterprises) and middle market companies (including divisions of larger conglomerates and standalone businesses with up to $100m in consideration) in growth, profitability drives, recapitalization, succession sale, corporate spin-outs, exit planning and buyout opportunities. We also invest as principals in the companies that we advise, by taking interim positions and by leveraging our relationship with our partner equity funds, other angels, VCs, buyout firms and private offices.
