Description

Beginning in 1983 Automated Data Systems (ADS) began offering IT technologies and consulting services in the northwest Indiana area. ADS is locally owned and operated and supports a diverse range of customers including many local school systems, local city and county units of government, many small and large business enterprises and not-for profit organizations. The company ownership and management has remained consistent for over 30 years providing our customers with the experience and technological expertise needed to meet their needs.

In 2003, Acme registered as a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission and became a regulated utility providing telephone and Internet services to residents and businesses in LaPorte and Michigan City, Indiana. In 2005, we began the construction of our fiber optic network to connect LaPorte and Michigan City, Indiana, initially to service local government's need for interconnecting facilities and for Internet service.
