Automation Technology Inc. was founded in February 1982. During the first few years, ATI manufactured custom built test equipment primarily for the electric motor manufacturing industry. As a manufacturer of custom built equipment, it quickly became clear the drawbacks associated with building custom equipment. Some of these drawbacks included long lead times, high costs (and in turn, high prices), and difficulty with service and support.

For over 25 years, ATI has been the industry leader in standard and custom designed electrical test equipment.

With our electronic testing equipment and automatic test systems installed all over the world, ATI has the expertise to provide a turn key solution to your testing needs.

ATI also manufactures test equipment for many other testing requirements (i.e. Power Tools, Appliances, Aerospace, Core Loss, Transmissions, Brakes, Thermostats, etc.) Please Contact ATI for any application.

ATI offers four different SWD models including the SWD- 300 Three Circuit Scratched Wire Detector. This unit is used on machines doing simultaneous insertion of three phase stators. ATI also manufactures a Single Circuit (SWD-100) and a Dual Circuit (SWD-200) Scratched Wire Detector. All of these models include durable, insulation piercing contacts. These units also include an amber light that confirms to the operator that the wire insulation has been pierced and a good connection has been made.
