Welcome to the web site of AVAR, Incorporated Welcome to the web site of AVAR, Incorporated Since 1999, we have conducted research, design, and manufacturing in the field of SRF particle accelerator technology. We have the facilities, equipment, and staff to develop novel accelerator components and concepts for the nuclear and high energy physics communities, as well as the medical, industrial, and defense sectors. We have focused research efforts to directly benefit the International Linear Collider (ILC) and other projects. Some of our current research interests include: -low cost SRF fabrication processing technologies for ILC cost reduction -Free electron laser (FEL) and Energy Recovery Linac (ERL) photocathode development
