Avita Community Partners, Georgia's premier Community Service Board, seeks an innovative executive leader to guide its professional team in a $21M comprehensive system serving thirteen counties. The Service Board is recognized for integrating developmental disability & behavioral health services with community education, healthcare, welfare and justice systems. Its long history providing quality services in North Georgia and its successful collaborations have garnered political and financial support that form a solid foundation for growth. With an eye to the future, Avita is implementing an aggressive strategic plan to meet the needs of its constituents and secure its financial diversification as a competitive provider of high quality services and supports. Current projects include the development of a 16 bed crisis stabilization program and telemedicine implementation. Located just north of Atlanta and a stones throw from gorgeous Lake Lanier, the communities of Avita offer four season living. Requirements Ideal candidates will be experienced leaders from community behavioral health systems, passionate about serving people, driven to achieve our mission and have the business acumen to balance competing priorities. With philosophies of shared leadership and collaboration, candidates will be politically savvy and excellent communicators. Candidates must have successful track records leading strategic initiatives, building innovative systems of care based on hope, recovery and self-determination and coaching high performing teams of dedicated professionals and community volunteers. Ideal candidates will also have a graduate degree in a relevant Health Care or Business arena plus progressive leadership experience in a Behavioral Health, Developmental Disability or similar human service setting; experience managing budgets and contracts of $10 M or more; and, at least five (5) years of executive leadership experience working with a Board of Directors to achieve program service goals while meeting the requirements of national accreditation.
