Advanced Witness Series, Inc. maintains a torque tool repair, calibration, and certification lab at its facility in San Jose, California. Our calibration lab is equipped to work with all types of torque tools, starting at 0.1 ozf.in. through large multipliers and hydraulic wrenches at 25,000 Lbf.ft. In addition, we are able to recalibrate and certify all types of torque testers, including both mechanical and electronic units. AWS also maintains a Quality Assurance Program which meets or exceeds the requirements of MIL-STD 45662.

The AWS-7000 Series Torque Display is a versatile readout series designed to provide an economical way to measure (or in the AWS-7000CT version, automatically tighten, measure, control, and record,) fastening data for critical fasteners. At the heart of the AWS-7000 lies the same precision electronics, and cutting-edge software as our production and metrology grade torque testers. Some of the advanced design features include: A 24-bit AD converter with no analog circuitry to drift.

We design and sell many different products, but they all have one thing in common: we are a quality and value-focused company working to provide the best quality product at affordable prices.

All of our major mechanical components are designed and machined in house. Many companies buy off the shelf plastic housings for their handheld testers, but our AWS-4050 handheld tester, like most of our products, is machined from billet aluminum. Our AWS-4050-MINI is machined from solid stainless steel. Most of our other products are machined from aluminum or steel, aside from some of our bench mount units which are made from custom bent and welded sheet metal.
