AWT Environmental Services, Inc. was incorporated in March of 1982 by an individual entrepreneur. At its inception, AWT was primarily in the business of waste transportation and disposal and emergency spill response. By the early 1990’s AWT was well entrenched in its conversion to a full-service site remediation and hazardous waste contractor. In 1994 it's founder sold the corporation to current management, which includes three family members and two other shareholders, all of whom hold operating positions and work full time at the company.
