Our company has grown from a one-man door to door stone mason in South Minneapolis to a modern day, family-owned command center that can capably manage the largest of projects, while retaining the master techniques needed to restore precious historic buildings. Founded in 1929, the American Swedish Institute honors Swedish, Swedish-American and Nordic Culture and holds a place on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2004, Axel H. Ohman was contracted to restore the porch and veranda. The dis-assembly, cleaning and reassembly was an intricate process that ultimately employed 5,500 pieces of Indiana Limestone in the final work.
