Description
The Pittsburgh Blues Society was formed by a group of musicians in the early 80's at the Penn Cafe in Bloomfield, and has served the public on the Web as "Blues Central" for the Pittsburgh region since 1995. Read about the Pittsburgh Blues scene, including Fred McIntosh's ongoing Pittsburgh music history research, and read reviews of the hottest local and national Blues acts. Freddie Mack is one of the founding members and President of the Pittsburgh Blues Society. He has worked in the local scene for many years and has played in clubs all over the United States. When he's not performing, he is hard at work in his home studio.
