He was previously founding President and Chief Technology Officer at Genoptix, Inc., a biotechnology company developing optical cell analysis and cell separation products for the diagnostic, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. He was also Vice President, Research and Development, at Nanogen, Inc., where he oversaw scientific management and business development activities of a microchip-based DNA analysis product.
