Description

Severe use applications include vehicles operated at temperatures below freezing, vehicles used for delivery service, police, taxi or other commercial applications. Vehicles operated in dusty areas or off-road frequently. Vehicles frequently loaded near or above the GVWR as stated by the vehicle manufacturer. Normal use applications : Every 3000 miles or once per month, whichever occurs first. Normal use applications include all vehicles not included under the severe use category.

Antique and classic vehicles with I-beam axles require special care. Sparrs Axle Machine has experience with such axles and understand the special problems and needs of rebuilding these units. We have access to most king pin sets to fit older vehicles or you can supply us with one you have already purchased. If you want to provide us with a kit WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU PURCHASE A KIT WITH BRONZE BUSHINGS and not use kits with composite or nylon bushings. Sparrs Axle Machine Inc. will only install bronze bushings into axles rebuilt in our facility.
