BCM selects components that not only help meet the extended lifecycle but are designed for 24/7 operation. BCM is able to offer these long lifecycle solutions by selecting long-life components and having complete manufacturing control by owning our factory and assembly lines. A strict inventory control logistics program allows us to maintain stock for hard to get and end-of-life components guaranteeing stable availability of off-the-shelf and customized motherboards throughout the product’s lifecycle. Our holistic approach to ECO and revision control guarantees no surprise hardware or firmware changes ever. Because we have local R&D and engineering resources in our Irvine, California office, custom projects and new project management is far more efficient than having to work directly with Asia. All this, plus low volume requirements on custom or BTO board assemblies, makes us a manufacturing partner that really adds value and saves you money and engineering resources.BCM Advanced Research is a 16 years old US company. Many of our engineers are located at our headquarters in Irvine, California. They are available to work closely with our customer’s OEM engineering teams in the United States, while our engineering and manufacturing teams in Taiwan help design, develop, and manufacture products that better serve their needs. This gives our OEM customers a competitive advantage and helps control the “cost-of-ownership” every OEM faces as they support their products. OEMs that take advantage of our engineering services order anywhere from 3,000 to over 50,000 boards per year. Our products are designed for high reliability, 24/7 operation and 3-5 years life cycles. Typical services offered: compatibility issue resolution, revision control, extended warranty, extended life cycle manufacture, custom chassis, LCD cables, and custom support boards. NRE fees may be involved, but you will find that BCM’s cost for customers utilizing our services, is as flexible as the solutions we provide.
