BKL, Inc has been providing Civil Engineering services to Oklahoma Communities since 1946. With in-house specialists in roadway and bridge design, hydrology/hydraulics, water and stormwater planning, BKL can offer clients extensive experience in all aspects of roadway and bridge projects. We also have extensive experience in civil engineering and structural engineering for Architectural projects such as building and foundation design, site planning, and drainage and detention design.

BKL, Inc. was founded in 1946 providing Civil Engineering services in the State of Oklahoma with such landmark projects as the Tulsa Metropolitan Expressway System Master Plan, the Tulsa Port of Catoosa, Tulsa's North and Southside Wastewater Treatment Plants, and some of the original roadway and bridge designs for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.

Early in 1987 George Rochelle, PE, joins the company with 11 years of previous experience in civil engineering. In the fall of 1987 Stacy Loeffler a recent Civil Engineering graduate joins the firm in order to gain experience and become a structural engineer. Both George and Stacy will later become principals in the firm.
