THOMAS P. COUGHLAN , a Certified Public Accountant, joined Boas and Boas in 1998 and became a partner in 2007. His work includes income tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals and closely held companies. He has extensive experience with tax characterizations of transactions, such as issues related to stock options and real estate. He also has experience with business valuations of closely held companies and Family Limited Partnerships. Prior to joining Boas & Boas, he served for two years as the Controller at a post-production facility.
