Description

Founded in 2010, Lightweight Labs (an affiliate of 96 year old Globe Machine based in Tacoma, WA) is an engineering and technology company that develops materials and manufacturing processes for plastic composites, including carbon fiber products. Lightweight Labs has developed a revolutionary carbon fiber curing system called RapidClave™.

OSB & OSL finishing lines encompass all the processing equipment located after the press unloader. Possible operations include cooling, sawing, grading, stacking, sanding, edge profiling, edge sealing, conditioning, and packaging. Globe designs and manufactures integrated lines to meet all these requirements.

The requirements for board handling and processing after the press are becoming ever more demanding as presses get larger and faster and the customer base becomes ever more demanding of quality. Finishing lines have to take the raw boards from the press and process them through cooling, storage, sanding, sawing, and packaging with efficiency and reliability. Globe designs and manufactures fully integrated lines to include any or all of these operations.

Machinery originally manufactured and sold by Burelbach Industries is now serviced by Globe Machine Company. Using much of the original Burelbach technology, moulded door skin lines continue to be custom designed to suit your production requirements.

Globe manufactures complete finishing systems for the foam and insulation industries. Systems allow producers to bring a quality package to the market. Proven designs allow reliable high speed operation that will fit the specific needs of each customer. We offer full system designs for almost any need.
