The SLIGHTLY READ BOOKSHOP Open: Monday. 1 pm to 7 pm Wednesday. 10am to 7 pm Saturday. 10 am to 3 pm Saturdays only in July and August "Our promise: The best book bargains in the Back Mountain." The recently renovated Slightly Read Bookshop has been serving Back Mountain readers with a wide variety of books since 1998. The bookshop offers Children's books for the very young and Chapter Books for the not-so-young; Cliff notes and Classics, and Crafts and Cookbooks. Investigate our Mysteries or beam up with titles from our Sci-Fi section. Peruse our History and other nonfiction offerings from Sports to Travel to Humor to Gardening. If you are a collector, we have an assortment of older titles to tempt your curiosity. Visit our Paperback Book Room and take home a bagful. Most books are priced under $7.00, and there is often a weekly special on an author or genre. We honor Whatever Cards and local college ID's. All proceeds benefit the Back Mountain Memorial Library. The bookshop is located beneath the Children's Wing at the rear of the Library, with parking and convenient handicap access. Our friendly volunteer staff is available to help make your shopping event a pleasant and memorable experience. We may not serve coffee like the big guys, but we can dish out the best book bargains for your enjoyment.
