PAST EVENT - MONDAY NIGHT MELODIES - PEORIA LIBRARY Monday, July 28, 2008 Peoria Library Auditorium - 8463 W, Monroe (Peoria AZ City Complex) "COWBOY" KEN CLEMMER, Bandits ringleader, does occasional solo performances that include cowboy, old-time, folk and originals, and here he is at the Peoria Library Auditorium. This is a dandy venue for the Monday Night Melodies series, and it involves three separate acts. Starting at 7 p.m. tonight, The Honey Dews (eclectic tunes) and Malcolm Harris (Scottish ballads) precede Ken's closing set. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ THE BACK PORCH BANDits 3SUM makes its second appearance at a Phoenix Art Museum function, this time for the new PHX/ART/KIDS Gallery Opening. Our contact says she observed us interacting with kids at the Desert Botanical Garden and figured we'd be just right for it. She murmured something about "lack of maturity" or something, which MUST be good... Anyhow, it is yet another good opportunity for you to see the myriad things that go on at Phoenix Art Museum. It's a remarkable place with WAY more exhibitions and activities than one might think, including the famed Cowboy Artists of America 43rd annual exhibition in the fall of 2008.
