Logline: Yasmin, 16 would love to find a way to be happy with her life. One day a mystical little girl brings her into a parallel world where our Emotions and Thoughts. Are creatures. Yasmin learns that she is responsible due to her negative Thoughts that the Hate Monster Odio has become so powerful and trying to take over the world. There is only one chance to stop him. Yasmin needs to find the mystical E88 but Odio doesn’t want to give up his power so easily. What is Back To Reality about? A modern Neverending story meets The Matrix for kids. This is a story about life and new different perspective of seeing our reality. Where do feelings, emotions come from? What makes us tick and why? What if there is a special world where we could see our own emotions and fears and even thoughts as individual creatures? What would you tell your biggest fear if you needed to make it powerless? Two years ago I had this incredible vision of Yasmin lying in the grass and looking in to the deep blue sky not knowing what she wants to do with her sad life. I remembered for a moment how complicated life can be in the eyes of a young adult and especially with a non supportive family. What is the reason for all this and what is the right decision to do with our time? My mission is to show teenagers and young adults with this book that there is a beautiful special world out there that wants to be explored and dreams that want to be accomplished. Back To Reality is all about Friendship, Family and the belief in us is one team against the horrible fears, which at the end are our friends too. Our emotions are our partners in this game called life and they want to communicate with us. The concept of this story is simple. The audience dips into a special world with Yasmin and learns with her a way how fears can be destroyed and that the smile is our powerful weapon. This book is available in German.
