Backflow Prevention Supply was organized in 1989 by Gary Jenkins. A plumber by trade, Gary got acquainted with the backflow industry early. When an assembly needed to be repaired he had to order the parts since parts were not readily available in plumbing supply houses. Gary decided that he should start a company that dealt only with stock related to the backflow industry. Over the years the company has flourished as the demand for backflow supplies increases. Gary is a certified instructor for the state of Utah and teaches certification and trouble shooting classes, and is often asked to lecture on topics related to the backflow industry. For the past many years he has been involved in the ABPA Utah Chapter and is a strong supporter for the organization.
