Backflow Tech was founded in 1985 by Larry Nelson, who remains the company's senior cross-connection technical authority. As the company's customer base grew, so did the staff of certified testers. Currently, the company employs four full-time testers with significant field testing and repair experience, and related experience in water distribution, pipefitting and precision tuning and repair of mechanical devices. Our large and diverse customer base includes many of the largest corporations and multi-location customers in Colorado some of whom entrust us with the maintenance of hundreds of devices in dozens of locations throughout the state. We are honored that they turn to us as a dependable and expert service provider. Our cross-connection control technicians carry extensive inventories of parts and supplies to minimize out-of-service time and service charges for our customers, and are qualified to work on all types, makes, models and sizes of backflow assemblies; on domestic and irrigation water supplies and on those protecting fire suppression systems. Backflow Tech is registered as a Fire Suppression Contractor with the Colorado Division of Fire and Safety.
